Short version: no accounts, no forms that collect personal details. Google Analytics counts visits, and you can switch it off.

The tools
The eligibility checker, bill-date estimator, troubleshooter and search all run in your browser. Your answers and dates aren’t sent to us or stored. We never ask for your address, name, email or Starlink account details.
Usage counts
To see which pages and tools help people, the site sends anonymous event counts to our own endpoint: an event name (for example “checker completed”), the page path, and one broad label (for example “eligible” or “not eligible”). Our own counter sets no cookies, stores no IP address with the event and uses no device ID. The same counts also go to Google Analytics (below). Search Console shows us which searches lead here, in aggregate.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages help. It loads Google’s gtag.js script from googletagmanager.com and sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_…, kept up to 2 years) so a returning browser can be recognized. Google receives the page address, the referring page, device and browser details, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (Google says Google Analytics 4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses). The usage counts above are sent with a “detail” value holding the same broad label, never your answers or dates.
- Google signals and ad personalization are turned off: no advertising features, no remarketing. We don’t sell the data.
- Event data is kept for 14 months.
- If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics isn’t loaded at all.
- To opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control, block cookies for this site, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

The referral link
If you click a referral button, you go to starlink.com. From then on, Starlink’s privacy policy applies, not ours. We don’t send Starlink any information about you.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site, under its own policy.
