Eligibility rules
Who qualifies for the Starlink free month
Six conditions, all from Starlink’s own terms. Miss one and the credit won’t come.
Short answer
You qualify if you’ve never had Starlink and you order the kit and a Residential or Roam plan on starlink.com, through a current US customer’s referral link, for a US address. You then need to stay on a full-speed plan for two full billing cycles.
The six conditions
- You’ve never had Starlink Not now, not before, at no address. Returning customers don’t qualify.
- You order through a customer’s referral link No code, no form, and no other way of being referred counts.
- You buy the kit and plan on starlink.com Not in a store, not from a reseller, not second-hand, not by account transfer.
- Your service address is in the US It has to match the referrer’s country, and this guide covers US links only.
- You pick a Residential or Roam plan Starlink names the plans and shows the eligible ones when you sign up.
- You stay on a full-speed plan for two full billing cycles Standby doesn’t count. Starlink also looks for people who sign up only to leave.
Read Starlink’s exact wording for each condition
“The Referred Subscriber is not, and has never been, a Starlink subscriber.”
“The Referred Subscriber places an order for a Starlink Kit using the Unique Referral Link provided by the Referrer. No other referral mechanism shall qualify as an Eligible Referral.”
“The Referred Subscriber must purchase a Starlink Kit and subscription directly from www.starlink.com. Signing up through any other channel is not eligible for a Reward, including, but not limited to, retail stores, unauthorized resellers, or a private transfer from a third party.”
“The Referred Subscriber activates a Starlink subscription with a service address in the same country as the Referrer's service address.”
“Referral credits will only issue on these plans: Residential: Residential Lite, Residential, Residential 100 Mbps, Residential 200 Mbps, Residential Max. Roam: Roam 100GB, Roam 300GB, Roam Unlimited.”
“The Referred Subscriber must maintain continuously subscribed and in good standing for two full monthly billing cycles in order for a Pending Referral to mature to an Eligible Referral.”
